Every website build is unique and the time it takes depends on many factors, such as whether there is an existing website, the number of pages needed, whether or not content will be provided or written, the need for any custom development, and if you need SEO included as well. For a basic small business website with 5-10 pages, built from scratch, without writing content, including SEO but no custom development, a good starting estimate is two weeks.

Yes! We consider a full website redesign more like a new website build. However, if you have an existing website that you don't want to fully redesign, but rather make updates or tweaks to the existing design or content, we can certainly help with that as well.

Most of the time, but not always. While we try to complete as much of each project as we can, there will be times when the project is too large for myself or it requires a more specialized skill set. In these cases, we reach out to our network of independent contractors and build a team to fits the project scope.

We will certainly try! But search engine optimization is tough, and ranking on the first page of Google is challenging for any business. Localized businesses have a better chance than national companies, but many factors go into whether or not your website can rank high on Google. We have helped small business improve their search rankings onto the first page of Google, but we can never guarantee any particular success or ranking level, there are too many variables outside our control that influence your ranking.

We would love to help with your social media! Casting Nets does not actively manage social media accounts for our customers, however, we can help audit your current social media accounts, develop a strategy and train your staff to manage it properly. We can also refer you to qualified companies that will manage it for you.

Mostly no, but sometimes yes. AI has become an unavoidable part of the digital marketing industry, and while we are supportive of some tools that use AI, we do not support the use of 100% AI-produced work. We occasionally use AI to help brainstorm ideas or generate some assets, such as a snippet of code, a first draft of an article, a customized image or a 3D model. These assets are never implemented without being reviewed by a human. We use AI as a tool to help us be more efficient, not to do our work for us.

Any creative work, such as a design, logo or piece of content, created by Casting Nets, will be owned by your company at the end of the contract. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, all copyright and trademarks transfer to your company when the contract has successfully ended (meaning final payment has been made or the contract was otherwise terminated).

We don't build mobile apps ourselves, but we can help you with the ideation and UX of your app. Then we would outsource the actual app development to a trusted third party, managing the project for you and ensuring a high-quality final product. Invoices can be paid using ACH, cash, check or credit card. However, credit card payments will incur a 3% fee to cover the transaction costs.

We build most of our websites using the WordPress platform. WordPress is a content management system that is fairly simple to implement but allows for high levels of customization. However, we can work within any website platform, such as Squarespace, Webflow, or Wix, as well websites without any CMS platform at all.

Self-hosted website solutions such as Squarespace and Webflow are great at getting a nice looking website up fast with a small learning curve and fairly low cost. However, these self-hosted platforms don't implement proper SEO for you, so you will need to research and add keywords yourself. Their themes/templates are typically used by many other customers and can be very cookie-cutter in style. Lastly, because you have to work within their platform, functionality and customization can be very limited. On the other hand, when you use a digital marketing company to help build your website, you know the SEO research will be done properly. The website will be built with future digital marketing in mind. Your website theme/template can be fully customized when built in a platform like WordPress. Plus then you have someone available to answer questions. Casting Nets can implement as much or as little of our services as you may need.
